Pirogue on the Water Pics
These are pictures of our pirogues first time on the water.  The pics are in chronological order from the afternoon of first launch 5-7-02 through the next mornings trip down the Bay River, up Alligator Creek then back.  I pulled Rob with my canoe and trolling motor for the long legs of the trip then we paddled up the creeks.  This was the only time Rob was able to spend in the pirogue before leaving to return to his home in South Africa.  I know he hated to leave it behind.  (For those with a critical eye, the first bunch of photos shows no life preservers on board and beer present - we were celebrating her launch with a short paddle and were not following safe boating practices so no comments please:)
